Mrs. Brooks of Concord asked Lucinda B. Browne to collect contributions for the anti-slavery fair, but she was unable to do very much. Lucinda's mother and sister were the only ones inclined to do anything. The items they made will be placed on the Concord table, and Lucinda's sister intends to be at the Fair to sell them.
