Mary Brady presumably wrote this letter to Mrs. Maria Weston Chapman. Since the contribution to the bazaar from this place is so small this year, Mary Brady has sent the articles to Manchester to be enclosed in the box from there. She mentions some of the articles, especially one sent by a little girl, Hannah Wall, whom Frederick Douglass will doubtless remember. Brady expresses anxiety about the condition of William Lloyd Garrison and the satisfaction in knowing that H. C. Wright will take care of him.
