Wife of Edward Madden
Item Information
- Title:
- Wife of Edward Madden
- Description:
-
Black and white photo portrait of one of Edward Madden's two wives, against a blank white background. Everything but her head and shoulders is obscured. She appears to be in her thirties or late twenties. Her hair is pinned up to the top of her head flat in a crimped style, indicative of the late 19th century. She is wearing a dark-colored, floral-patterned dress with metal buttons and a broach on the collar with a large jewel, though little of her is visible below the neck. It is unknown whether she was Madden's first or second wife. Her name is also unknown.
