Caroline Weston gives a history of the anti-slavery fairs. She writes at length on George Thompson, the activity of the Boston mobs, and the aid given to the anti-slavery cause by the Chapman family. She also discusses the internal dissensions in the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society.
