The brute negation of imagination In their design is the visual equivalent of a kick in the gut. Because of their location, these three privately owned 22-story brick apartment buildings are disqualified from our list of ugliest in Boston. However, they may be the ugliest in Massachusetts. Competition is stiff for that dubious distinction.
