Bartolomeo Vanzetti autographed letter signed to Zorin [i.e. Zora] and B[eltrando Brini], [Charlestown], 10 February 1923
Description:
On a visit from McAnarney, and fascists in Italy. Translation: Received your letter. Wrote right away to encourage and appease you. Called the lawyer to get certain documents. Had a visit from lawyer McAnarney. He is quite optimistic. “My people make me unhappy and sometimes angry. Tells what troubles him. Discusses the news that Fascists are in power in Italy, warns of what will happen. Did you hear of the trip to Italy of one of our lawyers from Quince [sic]. “I’ve written to my loved ones... Thank Beltrando for his letter... Must stop... the bell has rung.
